На кафедре преподаются фундаментальные предметы для подготовки специалистов в области юриспруденции.
Профессор кафедры, д.ю.н. Аюпова Зауре Каримовна является обладателем звания «Лучший преподаватель высшего учебного заведения» 2017 года, а 22 декабря 2022 года награждена знаком «За заслуги перед развитием науки Республики Казахстан».
