Work of the International Office for Internationalization with Foreign Partners and International Organizations
International Office of KazNARU is actively engaged in internationalization of the university. Nowadays international cooperation is a key factor in the development of educational and scientific institutions. It contributes to the exchange of knowledge, expanding horizons and strengthening the position of the university in the world arena with foreign partners from near and far abroad, as well as with international organizations.
Cooperation with Foreign Partners
The International Office actively develops relations with universities and scientific organizations from near and far abroad. The main purpose of this cooperation is the exchange of knowledge and technology, as well as the development of joint research projects. Our partners from different countries of the world provide students and teachers with unique opportunities for academic mobility, which contributes to the exchange of experience and improvement of the quality of education.
Examples of collaboration:
1. Student and faculty exchange programs. Our university has concluded agreements with a number of universities in Europe, Asia and America, which allows students and teachers to undergo internships, study and teach abroad. This not only increases their competence level, but also contributes to the strengthening of intercultural ties.
2. Joint research projects. Within the framework of cooperation with foreign universities we realize projects in the field of agronomy, ecology, biotechnology and other scientific areas. This allows us to exchange advanced technologies and methods, as well as to attract foreign grants and funding.
Work with International Organizations
In addition to cooperation with universities, our international office actively cooperates with various international organizations such as UNESCO, the United Nations and the World Bank. These organizations have a significant impact on the development of education and science, providing opportunities for participation in international projects and initiatives.
Examples of interactions:
1. Participation in UNESCO programs. Our university is a participant of a number of UNESCO programs aimed at the development of sustainable education and science. This includes participation in conferences, seminars and projects aimed at addressing global challenges.
2. UN projects. We cooperate with the UN within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals, which allows us to participate in international projects aimed at improving the quality of life of people and environmental protection.
3. World Bank. Our work with the World Bank includes participation in projects aimed at developing the infrastructure and economy of educational institutions.
Examples of Successful Projects
1. ALMA-KIKA Project. This project is aimed at sustainable regional management and conservation of old varieties of apple trees in Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. The project organizes scientific research, seminars and conferences that contribute to the development of the agricultural sector.
2. Green Business Pavilion Conference. The event, organized in cooperation with international partners, was aimed at discussing sustainable solutions for climate protection and economic growth. Participation in this conference allowed our university to present its research and establish new contacts with international organizations.
3. Joint laboratories with Lanzhou University of China. Six laboratories have been established under this project, which are engaged in scientific research in the field of agriculture and ecology. This cooperation promotes the exchange of knowledge and technology between our countries.
Advantages of Internationalization
Internationalization of the university has many advantages for both students and teachers. It contributes to:
- Improving the quality of education. The exchange of experience and knowledge with foreign partners allows the introduction of advanced methods and technologies in the educational process.
- Development of scientific research. Joint projects with international organizations and universities help to attract funding and resources for research.
- Strengthening of intercultural relations. Academic mobility and participation in international projects contribute to the development of intercultural understanding and tolerance among students and teachers.
- Expanding career opportunities. Participation in international projects and programs increases the competitiveness of graduates in the labor market, both nationally and internationally.
International Office of KazNARU plays a key role in the development of internationalization of the university. Cooperation with foreign partners and international organizations contributes to the development of education and science, strengthening international relations and increasing the competitiveness of our university on the world stage. KazNARU continues to actively work on new projects and initiatives that will benefit both our students and faculty and the entire international community.
Kazakh National Agrarian Research University (KazNARU) is actively expanding its horizons, cooperating with leading universities abroad. Such partnership allows the university to integrate into the global educational and scientific space, as well as to improve the quality of specialist training.
1) Joint educational programs: KazNARU and its foreign partners implement joint educational programs that allow students to receive double diplomas. This opens wide employment prospects for graduates in the international market. The programs can be aimed at training Masters and PhDs in various fields of agrarian sciences.
2) Student and faculty exchange: One of the key aspects of cooperation is academic mobility. KazNARU students can undergo internships and study in foreign universities, and teachers can improve their qualifications and share their experience with colleagues from other countries. This contributes to broadening of horizons and strengthening of international ties.
3) Joint scientific research: KazNARU and its partners actively cooperate in the field of scientific research. Joint projects bring together scientists from different countries to address pressing agricultural issues such as climate change, food security and sustainable development. Work is underway to establish joint research centers and laboratories: This allows for deeper cooperation in specific areas and more meaningful results.
4) Development of innovative educational technologies: Foreign partners share with KazNARU best practices in the development and implementation of innovative educational technologies. This allows the university to modernize the educational process and improve its efficiency. There is also work on the development of joint training programs to improve the qualification of teachers: This allows to improve the level of teaching and meet international standards.
5) Participation in international projects: KazNARU actively participates in international projects funded by various foundations and organizations. This allows attracting additional resources for the development of the university, as well as strengthening its international prestige. Organization of joint conferences and seminars: Such events promote the exchange of experience and establishment of new contacts.
Joint work on the creation of international consortia is carried out: Combining the efforts of several universities to solve major scientific problems.
Cooperation with leading universities of far abroad allows KazNARU not only to improve the quality of education and research, but also to integrate into the global educational space. This contributes to the development of the agrarian sector of Kazakhstan and strengthening its position in the international arena.

Cooperation of KazNARU with leading foreign organizations, companies and corporations: key directions
Kazakh National Agrarian Research University (KazNARU) actively cooperates with leading foreign companies and corporations. The University directs its efforts to attract foreign investments and transfer of advanced technologies to the agro-industrial complex of Kazakhstan.
1) Joint research projects: KazNARU and its foreign partners realize joint research projects aimed at solving urgent problems of agriculture. Companies provide the university with access to their technologies and expertise, and KazNARU scientists contribute to the development of innovative solutions.
