AI-Sana — springboard for technologies

A strategic project for the integration of artificial intelligence into Kazakhstan’s higher education and research system.
The goal is to train a new generation of specialists capable of developing and implementing AI solutions in key sectors such as energy, agriculture, water management, and digital governance.

What is AI-Sana

The project brings together universities, research centers, industry partners, and government bodies, creating a unified ecosystem of knowledge, research, and technological entrepreneurship. The platform presents training directions, acceleration stages, scientific tracks, and opportunities for students, faculty, and organizations.

«Domestic and international educational programs in the field of AI technologies can contribute to strengthening the human resources potential of our country. I instruct the Government to work out the issue of the phased implementation of the AI-Sana program for training specialists in the field of artificial intelligence. The program should contribute to the formation of a dynamic ecosystem that combines education, research and startup development. It is necessary to use the acceleration experience of leading world universities. It is necessary to convey to every resident of Kazakhstan the benefits of artificial intelligence, explain what it is needed for and how to use it correctly»
