The main activities of the Student Ombudsman:
•The main activity is aimed at protecting the rights of students, so a students can contact with any request or problem;
• be attentive to oral and written requests of students on issues related to the observance of their rights and legitimate interests during the educational process;
•promptly respond to complaints and suggestions from students and take all necessary actions to resolve existing (emerging) problems;
•submit for discussion to the dean, deputy deans, heads of departments, the Academic Council and other governing agencies, complaints and suggestions from students, within their competence;
•conduct preventive work between students on issues of preventing illegal/incorrect actions at the university that violate the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
