The Faculty of Land and Forest Resources has close scientific contacts with a number of foreign universities and scientific centers in more than 30 countries of Europe, America, Asia and CIS. The forms of cooperation are different: scientific trainings of teachers, inviting foreign professors to give lectures, conducting joint scientific researches, conferences, co-supervising doctoral students. Foreign universities partners from: USA, Germany, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Latvia, Finland, China, Poland, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, etc.

The Faculty develops academic mobility of students on the basis of the Rules about the direction of study abroad, including within the framework of academic mobility and the Regulations on Academic Mobility.
At the moment, under the program of academic mobility students are studying in foreign universities in Poland, Hungary, Lithuania, USA.
There are 5 foreign students at the faculty, citizens of China, Afghanistan, Uzbekistan.
Academic mobility of teaching staff
Within the framework of academic mobility and scientific events, scientists are invited to give training sessions and professional development courses for teachers, students and undergraduates.

Joint projects
Improving postgraduate training in sustainable agriculture and agro-systems of the future, funded by the European Commission under the Erasmus + Capacity Building Projects in Higher Education (E+CBHE) program. Project number: 610383-EPP-1-2019-1-DE-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP
The project addressed the need to train doctoral students to high quality and international standards to increase knowledge based on solutions for sustainable agriculture and future farming systems - a topic of national, inter-regional and international importance.
Project 5744056-ERR-1-2016-PL-EPPKA2-CBHE-SP SUSDEV "Lifelong Learning for Sustainable Development" funded by the European Commission under the Erasmus + Capacity Building Projects in Higher Education (E+CBHE) program.
The project aims to strengthen the role of higher education institutions in sustainable development of industry and society, support national green policies in partner countries and promote green culture through lifelong learning.
Summer school
Every year the Faculty organizes a summer school in two directions "Sustainable management of forest and land resources" and "Problems of assessment and management of water resources of Kazakhstan".
Within the framework of the summer school 2024 "Sustainable management of forest and land resources" participated the chairs of Forest Resources, Hunting and Fishery, as well as Land Resources and Cadastre. A total of 58 attendees, including 19 offline and 39 online. The summer school program included a series of lectures, workshops and discussion panels featuring speakers, experts and practitioners in the field of land and forest management. The speakers contributed significantly to the educational process and provided participants with access to the latest research and best practices in the agricultural sector.
The online presentations were followed by a discussion to share the views of the school participants on current forestry issues.
The school "Sustainable Forest and Land Management" was attended by scientists from far and near abroad, from the Republic of Turkey, the People's Republic of China, the Republic of Uzbekistan.
