International Research Center - Water Hub

The purpose of the Water Hub is to collectively study the current problems of water resources use, develop practical recommendations and proposals for their effective management in Central Asia, in particular in Kazakhstan, as well as training and retraining of specialists for this industry.

The objectives of the Water Hub are:

- implementation of the state policy in the field of water security;

- training and retraining of specialists in water resources, land reclamation, etc.

- provision of consulting services to subjects and objects of water consumers;

- transfer and implementation of advanced technologies for the rational use of water resources;

- development of proposals for the regulation of water relations in the field of protection of water resources, water use, water supply and sanitation;

- study and development of proposals for the rational and integrated use of hydro-reclamation systems and water facilities;

- creation of a unified information base on the use of water resources, as well as provision of hydrometeorological and environmental monitoring of irrigated lands;

- conducting scientific research on solving urgent problems of water resources management;

- participation in the development of draft legislative acts and the Water Code
