The field of professional activity is the field of military activities, which includes a set of means, ways and methods aimed at solving problems in the operation and combat use of engineering weapons, armed forces engineering units.

The objects of professional activity of the graduates are:
the nature of modern warfare, the means of armed combat used in it;
means of engineering armament;
measures for engineering support of combat.
Subjects of professional activity
The subjects of professional activity of graduates are:
planning and organization of engineering support of various types of combat by engineer-sapper (engineer) units and units;
combat duty as a part of subdivisions;
Operation, maintenance and combat use of engineering weapons in service with engineer-sapper (engineer) units and units;
Organization and conduct of repairs of engineering armament;
organizing and conducting combat training sessions with the personnel of subunits.

Types of professional activity of the graduates are:
command and tactical;

Functions of professional activity
A graduate in accordance with the basic and specialized training can perform the following functions at the objects of professional activity:
management of the personnel of engineering-sapper (engineering) units in the preparation and conduct of combat operations, as well as in day-to-day activities;
training of the personnel of engineering-sapper (engineering) units in the course of combat training, as well as in day-to-day activities;
education of personnel of engineer (engineer) units in the course of combat training, as well as in day-to-day activities.
Typical tasks of professional activity
In accordance with the basic and professional training a graduate is able to solve the following tasks at the objects of professional activity:
development and execution of combat documents of the commander of engineer-sapper (engineer) units;
organization of engineering support of different types of combined arms combat by an engineer-sapper (engineer) subdivision;
performance of main activities on the maintenance and operation of engineering armament, maintaining it in constant combat readiness;
measuring technical parameters of engineering armament and engineering equipment with the help of metrological devices;
Compliance with and monitoring of the basic safety requirements for the operation of engineering armament means;
organization of combat training and daily activities with subdivision personnel.

The directions of professional activity of the graduates are:
operation, maintenance, troop repair and combat use of engineering weapons, which are in service of engineer-sapper (engineer) units;
ensuring combat effectiveness and life support in the course of combat operations;
Operation, knowledge of the material part of engineering armament and rules of operation;
training and upbringing of personnel of subunits.
