planning and organization of engineering support for various types of combat by engineer-sapper (engineering) units and units;
carrying out combat duty as part of units;
operation, maintenance and combat use of engineering weapons, which are in service with engineer-sapper (engineering) units and units;
organizing and carrying out repairs of engineering equipment;
organization and conduct of combat training classes with the personnel of subunits.

Functions of professional activity
A graduate, in accordance with basic and specialized training, can perform the following functions at the objects of professional activity:
management of the personnel of engineering and sapper (engineering) units in the preparation and conduct of hostilities, as well as in daily activities;
training of personnel of engineer-sapper (engineering) units in the course of combat training, as well as in daily activities;
education of the personnel of engineer-sapper (engineering) units in the course of combat training, as well as in everyday activities.
Typical tasks of professional activity
A graduate, in accordance with basic and professional training, can solve the following tasks at the objects of professional activity:
development and execution of combat documents for the commander of engineering and sapper (engineering) units;
organization of engineering support for various types of combined arms combat by an engineer-sapper (engineering) unit;
implementation of the main measures for the maintenance and operation of engineering weapons, maintaining it in constant combat readiness;
measurement of technical parameters of engineering weapons and engineering equipment using metrological instruments;
implementation and control of the basic safety requirements for the operation of engineering equipment;
organization of combat training and daily activities with the personnel of units.

The areas of professional activity of graduates are:
operation, maintenance, military repair and combat use of engineering weapons, which are in service with engineering and sapper (engineering) units;
ensuring combat capability and vital activity during hostilities;
operation, knowledge of the material part of engineering weapons and operating rules;
training and education of personnel of divisions.
