The scope of professional activity is a set of means, ways and methods of military activity aimed at carrying out the tasks of combat use of motorized infantry units.

The objects of professional activity of graduates are: technological systems, technical means, providing for the preparation and combat of equipment and armament of the squad in different conditions; the fundamentals of operations of motorized rifle units; the use of communications equipment in the motorized rifle units;

The subjects of professional activity are: armament and military equipment of the unit; the personnel of the subordinate unit.

A graduate of the military department must perform the following functions in accordance with the types of military professional activity: management of the unit in the organization and performance of tasks of daily activities in peacetime and wartime (including the management of the ranks of units, management of the unit in the performance of tasks of guard duty and internal service) with ensuring the implementation of security measures; Implementation of measures to preserve State and military secrets in the course of day-to-day activities; Training of unit personnel in the course of combat training and daily activities; Education of unit personnel in the course of combat training and day-to-day activities.

Typical tasks of a professional activity are Operation of the unit's weapons and equipment, and ensuring the safety requirements of the work; Preparing for and engaging in combat use of equipment and small arms in the course of operations; Organizing and conducting activities to bring the unit to the highest levels of combat readiness, monitoring their implementation; Organizing and conducting classes with the unit under the combat training program, conducting special training drills, organizing and conducting independent training; Organizing and conducting classes with the unit on the preservation and promotion of the health of military personnel; Organizing and conducting educational work in the unit, talks, informing the personnel.

The directions of professional activity of the graduates are: operation, maintenance and combat use of weapons and equipment of motorized rifle unit of the Army of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan. ensuring the combat effectiveness and serviceability of motorized rifle units of the Army of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan in various kinds of combat; Training and upbringing of personnel of the units.
