In 2024, the Kazakhstan-German Institute for the Protection of Ecosystems and Biodiversity together with NETSCI GmbH from Germany won the project «RegioALMAnagement and value creation to preserve biodiversity and ecosystem services in Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan (ALMA-KiKa) - using the example of endangered wild fruit varieties». At the moment, the project is being implemented jointly with the Kyrgyz-German Institute for the Protection of Ecosystems and Biodiversity in the Kyrgyz Republic. The NGOs from Kazakhstan "Almaly Zhumak" and "Zherdin Dostary" are also involved in the project.
