The Department traces its academic roots to the Kazakh Agricultural Institute. In 1932, the Department of Economics and Organisation of Agricultural Enterprises was established there. The present Department of Accounting, Auditing and Finance was formed in September 2017 following the division of the Department of Economics and Finance.
