KazNARU Hosts a Major Career Fair in Collaboration with the Almaty City Career Center
On November 12, 2025, the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University (KazNARU), together with the Almaty City Career Center, hosted a large-scale Career Fair aimed at strengthening graduate employability and supporting successful transitions into the labor market.
The event brought together representatives of major companies as well as small and medium-sized businesses. Employers provided guidance, consultations, and employment opportunities across public services, food production, law, information technologies, economics, and the agricultural sector—demonstrating effective knowledge exchange between industry and higher education.
Students and graduates from several universities, including KazNARU, participated in the fair. Companies offered approximately 300 job openings, expanding career pathways for young specialists and contributing to the university’s strong graduate outcomes.
The event was opened by the First Vice-Rector – Deputy Chairman of the Board, Pirimkul Sholpankululy Ibragimov, who emphasized that the Career Fair is not a one-day initiative, but a long-established platform that strengthens partnerships between the university and employers. He highlighted its significance for ensuring professional adaptation and fostering confidence among graduates entering the workforce—an important element of effective governance and educational impact.
This year, around 340 graduates from three university faculties took part:

School of Business and Law – 98 students

Faculty of Water Resources and IT Technologies – 78 students

Faculty of Engineering Technologies – 160 students
Nearly 50 employers from various regions of Kazakhstan, including major companies such as Su Resurystary – Marketing (Shymkent) and ST Agro (Kokshetau), joined the event, demonstrating nationwide engagement and promoting equality of access to employment opportunities.
Such initiatives strengthen university–industry cooperation, enhance the social impact of higher education, and support the professional development and wellbeing of young specialists across the country.
