KazNARU PROFESSOR NAMED “BEST RESEARCHER – 2025”
On February 13, 2026, a solemn award ceremony for representatives of science and higher education was held in Almaty with the participation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan — Саясат Нурбек.
Following the results of the national competition “Best Researcher – 2025,” 50 leading scientists of the country were recognized for their significant contribution to the development of national science, research publications, implementation of scientific projects, and training of academic personnel.
🔹 Dani Sarsekova, Dean of the Faculty of Water, Land and Forest Resources, Professor at Kazakh National Agrarian Research University (KazNARU), was awarded the title “Best Researcher – 2025.”
Professor Sarsekova is the author of more than 230 scientific publications, including papers indexed in Scopus and Web of Science. She has led and implemented major research projects in forestry, ecology, sustainable natural resource management, and climate adaptation of forest ecosystems.
The конкурс committee evaluated publication activity, citation metrics, scientific achievements, and overall contribution to strengthening the country’s research potential.
This prestigious award confirms the strong position of KazNARU’s scientific school and the university’s significant contribution to the development of agrarian science in Kazakhstan.
