KazNARU HOSTS MEETING WITH MEMBERS OF THE NATIONAL COALITION
✅ On February 24, 2026, a meaningful meeting was held at the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University (KazNARU) with members of the Almaty City National Coalition under the theme: “For the People’s Constitution of a Just and Progressive Kazakhstan!”
✅ During the event, the key directions and priorities of the draft New Constitution, which is to be submitted to a forthcoming nationwide referendum, were widely discussed. Representatives of the coalition explained the essence of the constitutional amendments and shared their views on their impact on the country’s development.
✅ The meeting was attended by members of the Republican Coalition, Deputies of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan — Sultanbek Makezhanov, Darkhan Kydyrali, and Nuriya Niyazova — as well as deputies of the Almaty City Maslikhat, Karashash Dzhuzeyeva and Elena Tyo.
✅ The event was also attended by a Member of the University Board, First Deputy Chairman of the Board – Rector, Pirimkul Sholpankulovich Ibragimov, faculty members, deans, staff, and students.
✅ In his speech, Senate Deputy Sultanbek Makezhanov emphasized the historical significance of the constitutional reform and noted that the referendum represents an important political step directly influencing the country’s future. He stressed that the responsible position of every citizen determines the future of the state.
✅ Darkhan Kydyrali elaborated on the development process of the new version of the Constitution, highlighting that the document was prepared in the state language. He also noted that the draft includes provisions aimed at developing education and science, supporting innovative initiatives, and strengthening legal guarantees in the digital environment.
✅ Senate Deputy Nuriya Niyazova paid special attention to language-related issues, noting that proposals and appeals in this area may be addressed to the deputies of the Almaty City Maslikhat. The deputies expressed their readiness to conduct explanatory work and provide clear responses to all pressing public concerns.
✅ During the meeting, university staff and students raised specific questions regarding the draft New Constitution, to which the deputies provided comprehensive and substantive answers. The open discussion format enhanced the significance of the event and allowed participants to freely express their views.
✅ The city coalition includes nearly 200 representatives. Currently, they are actively conducting informational and explanatory activities across the city and maintaining close engagement with the public. The main objective is to establish an open dialogue platform and create conditions for citizens to consciously participate in decisions concerning the future of the country.
