AI HACKATHON FOR SCHOOL STUDENTS TO BE HELD IN ALMATY WITH KAZNARU PARTICIPATION
On April 3–4, 2026, an AI hackathon for grades 9–11 students will take place in Almaty at Farabi Hub as part of the educational project AI Talents Almaty.
The event brings together key stakeholders including the Digitalization Department of Almaty, the Education Department of Almaty, and leading universities such as the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University (KAZNARU).
The hackathon aims to foster students’ interest in artificial intelligence, digital technologies, and programming, while enhancing their practical skills and project-based thinking.
The program includes:

expert talks in AI and IT;

workshops by tech companies and startups;

project demonstrations;

an exhibition zone of universities and organizations.
KAZNARU’s participation highlights its commitment to developing digital competencies, supporting talented youth, and contributing to the future workforce.
Prize fund:
