KazNARU FACULTY MEMBERS CONDUCT LARGE-SCALE CAREER GUIDANCE ACTIVITIES

The academic staff of the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University are actively implementing systematic and large-scale career guidance activities in schools and colleges of Almaty city, Almaty region, and other regions.

✅ FACULTY OF ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGIES

Faculty members carried out career guidance activities across multiple educational institutions.

Senior lecturers of the Department of Transport Engineering and Technologies named after I.V. Sakharov — A. Kuntugankyzy and R.M. Kassimova — held a meeting at the Almaty College of Railway Transport.

Faculty members A.K. Niyazbayev, E. Sarkynov, B.B. Kurbanaliyev, Zh.B. Zhumagulov and R.K. Cherikbayev conducted outreach activities at the Uzynagash Professional College of Zhambyl district.

Dean L. Aldibayeva, along with assistants of the Department of Energy and Electrical Engineering D. Sarsenbekuly and A. Yeleushinov, organized meetings in schools of Kegen district, Zhalanash village, and the Kolsai Vocational Technical College.

Additionally, lecturers of the Department of Food Technology and Safety conducted career guidance activities in schools of Almaty and Merki district of Zhambyl region. Memorandums of cooperation were signed, and graduate surveys were conducted via QR codes.

✅ FACULTY OF FORESTRY AND LAND RESOURCES

Senior lecturer M.K. Shynybekov conducted career guidance meetings in schools of Saryzhaz, Karasaz, Shalkode and Talas villages of Raiymbek district, Almaty region, as well as in the Saryzhaz Vocational Technical College. A total of 110 prospective students were covered.

✅ FACULTY OF AGROBIOLOGY

Faculty members E.M. Kuandykova, G.A. Ussenova and L.A. Zhailybayeva conducted a career guidance meeting at Secondary School No. 12 named after Sh. Ualikhanov in Almaty.

During the meeting, 11th-grade students were introduced to the university’s educational programs, watched a video presentation, and received comprehensive answers to their questions. The total number of graduates was 135.

✅ DEPARTMENT OF GENERAL EDUCATION DISCIPLINES

Faculty members S.A. Itegulova and E.S. Ospanov held a meeting with students of grades 10–11 at School-Gymnasium No. 159 named after Y. Altynsarin in Almaty.

Participants were provided with detailed information about academic programs, distributed informational materials, and received answers to their questions.

✅ NATIONAL LEVEL

At the initiative of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, career guidance activities were conducted from April 7 to 25, 2025, starting at the Al-Farabi Palace of Schoolchildren in Astana.

Additionally, senior lecturer K.Zh. Umbetzhanov, together with Director of the Almaty branch of “TIASHMII” A.S. Berdyshev, conducted career guidance activities in Kazakh schools of the Republic of Uzbekistan, presenting educational opportunities in Kazakhstan to ethnic Kazakh applicants.

During the meetings, participants received comprehensive information about academic programs, the educational process, scholarship opportunities, and admission requirements. Special emphasis was placed on the importance of making an informed career choice and on the перспективы развития agricultural and engineering fields.
