A roundtable dedicated to “Alikhan Bokeikhanov – the leader of the Alash idea” took place.

A roundtable discussion titled “Alikhan Bokeikhanov – Leader of the Alash Idea” was held at the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University, dedicated to the 160th anniversary of the birth of the prominent public and political figure Alikhan Bokeikhanov.
The event was organized at the initiative of the faculty members of the Department of General Education Disciplines — Sarsenbayev A.B., Kozhabekova A.D., and Ospanov E.B. The main objective of the roundtable was to promote Alikhan Bokeikhanov’s socio-political activities, highlight his role in the formation of Kazakh statehood, and emphasize the historical significance of the Alash idea.
The roundtable was attended by the university’s faculty and students. A special guest of the event was Leila Maralkyzy Khasanaeva, Candidate of Historical Sciences and Associate Professor of the Department of History of Kazakhstan at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University.
During the session, Leila Maralkyzy Khasanaeva delivered an insightful presentation, in which she thoroughly examined the personality of Alikhan Bokeikhanov, his contribution to the development of the national idea, and the significance of the Alash movement in the history of Kazakhstan.
At the end of the meeting, participants received answers to their questions, followed by an open discussion.
The event was aimed at fostering historical awareness among young people, promoting national values, and deepening the understanding of the Alash legacy.
