STUDENT DEVELOPMENT AND SUPPORT IN FOCUS
On September 11, Kazakh National Agrarian Research University hosted a seminar focused on student education, socialization, and well-being.
The meeting addressed ways to create favorable conditions for personal development, provide psychological assistance, and prevent emerging risks and challenges.
Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs Assima Yeraliyeva highlighted Abai Kunanbayuly’s concept of “Tolyk Adam” (“Holistic Person”) as one of the key principles guiding youth socialization. Particular attention was given to the principles of “Law and Order,” “Taza Qazaqstan” (“Clean Kazakhstan”), and “Reading Nation,” as well as personal development, the promotion of respect for work and working people, and the role of the University’s psychological service.
University psychologist Alisher Mynbay presented key approaches to psychological assistance, while Maksat Imanbekov explained ways to protect young people from financial fraud and prevent related risks.
The main goal of the seminar was to foster a supportive environment where students’ views are taken into account, their initiatives are encouraged, and opportunities for personal growth are created.
