"My profession is pride"

On November 18, 4th year students AG-21-01k and AG-21-02k of the Department of Agronomy, Breeding and Biotechnology of the Agrobiological Faculty held an event "My profession is pride".

During the event, Atakulov Tastanbek Atakulovich, Professor of the Department of Agronomy, Breeding and Biotechnology, spoke about the work path that has passed so far, as well as about current problems related to the profession, and shared his advice with students who are going to follow the path of science in the future.

 Gulsun Ongarovna Bayadilova, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor, also shared how she began her career after graduation. She also noted that many strong students graduated from our university and wished that the students who participated in the event would become strong specialists in their field in the future.

Agronomy (gr. "agros" - arable land; "nomos" – law) is a specialist in the field of agriculture with comprehensive knowledge in the field of growing agricultural plants. Currently, an agronomist should be a specialist with comprehensive knowledge, well-versed in professional skills. In addition, an agronomist – the main branch of the economy – must be a person who knows the technology of agriculture and the equipment used in it well, who is well versed in the natural and economic condition of the area. In this regard, graduates studying in this particular specialty held the event "My profession is pride" at a high level and shared their knowledge about their professions, expressing pride in the future specialties in which they study.
