Dear colleagues!

The Institute of History and Ethnology named after Ch.Ch. Valikhanov of the Committee of Science of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan invites on October 13, 2023 to take part in the Republican scientific and Practical conference dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the famous scientist-historian, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor H.M. Abzhanov on the topic: "The movement of history and the Kazakh way: stages, lessons and the future".   

The purpose of the conference is to study topical issues of national history in the context of world history, rethinking the social and spiritual aspects of national history, the struggle of the Kazakh people for independence and the revival of statehood, identifying problems and new approaches in discussing and rethinking historical processes through the prism of the scientific creativity of Academician Khankelda Makhmutovich Abzhanov.

The main directions of the conference:

• Academician H.M. Abzhanov and his contribution to the study of Russian history: scientific and professional path;
• Kazakhstan and world history;
• Heroic time and tragic pages of the past;
• Social and spiritual aspects of national history;
