Technical crops (sugar beet)

On September 29, 2022, in the rural district of Shengeldy, Almaty region, a training seminar was held with a field trip to the demonstration site of the farm "Yetekbaev" on the topic: "Problems of farms in the cultivation of sugar beet" (Industrial crops (sugar beet)).

The theoretical part of the seminar consisted of the lecture "Problems of farming in the cultivation of sugar beet" lecturer Espolov Erdos Isabaevich Ph.D., professor.

The topic of the lecture covers the following questions:

Introduction;

Small commodity nature of production;
High dependence of production on natural and climatic conditions;
Difficult access to financial services;
Technical backwardness of the industry, poor implementation of innovative developments;
Low performance;
Limited access to sales markets (they work with intermediaries that do not allow farmers to get a decent profit);
Active work with cooperatives is carried out in the regions of the republic.

The practical part of the seminar consisted of a visit by the participants to the demonstration site (KH "Etekbaev").

Based on the results of the seminar, the acquired knowledge was tested, lecture topics were discussed, questionnaires were asked and certificates were awarded.
