Relevance
The relevance of the study lies in the fact that with the escalation of modern interstate political conflicts, there is an urgent need to show a historical visual picture of the formation of the borders of Kazakhstan, and thereby stop attacks on the sovereignty and security of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Project objective
Study of the spatial phenomenon “frontier” in the history of Kazakhstan XVIII - early XX centuries, recreation of visual historical reconstruction of the formation of the border of Kazakhstan and the study of changes in the way of life of Kazakhs in the border space of Kazakhstan.
Expected and achieved results
- As part of the project, it is planned to publish at least 1 (one) article or review in a peer-reviewed scientific publication, indexed in the Social Science Citation Index and included in the 1 (first) or 2 (second) quartile by impact factor in the Web of Science database and (or) having a percentile according to CiteScore in the Scopus database of at least 65 (sixty-five) and at least 3 (three) articles and (or) reviews in peer-reviewed foreign and (or) domestic publications recommended by CQASES.
- The results of the study will be presented in a monograph and atlas.
- The results of the research will be one of the strongest means of propaganda, an important element of visual and effective knowledge of the past and will contribute to the modernization of public consciousness.
- The results of the study will have a social and environmental effect, based on the identified visual materials, analysis and description.
Information for potential users
The results will contribute to the formation of a policy of national memory on the issues of establishing the border and border space of Kazakhstan.
The database of archives of the Republic of Kazakhstan will be replenished.
