Research interests and areas of focus: water resources management, water quality control, water scarcity, water supply, hydrology.
Research: scientific justification of changes in the water-salt regime of irrigation water based on specific data (including a study of the water-salt regime of irrigation water in the lower reaches of the Syr Darya River), water quality, the process of supplying water to irrigated lands, the volume of wastewater from these lands, its quality and quantity, water-salt regimes, and their analysis, selection of analytical methods and conducting research using them.
Achievements: 12 articles have been published, including 2 articles in international peer-reviewed scientific journals indexed in Web of Science and Scopus, 1 article in the Scopus-indexed Caspian Journal of Environmental Sciences (Q2 journal, 59th percentile), 2 articles in News of the Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Series of Geology and Technical Sciences (Q3 journal, 42nd percentile), 5 articles in proceedings of international scientific conferences, and 5 articles in scientific publications recommended by the Control Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
