The First Meeting of the “Söz jáne Shabyt” Creative Club Took Place

On November 22, 2025, the first meeting of the “Söz jáne Shabyt” (“Word and Inspiration”) creative club was held at the “Aqqaiyng” dormitory of the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University (KazNARU). The event brought together students interested in Kazakh literature and the art of spoken word.

The evening began with an introductory lecture, where participants learned about the cultural significance of language and oratory in human consciousness. The informative talk transitioned into an engaging quiz that tested students’ knowledge of Abai Kunanbayuly, Ybyrai Altynsarin, genres of Kazakh literature, and the works of prominent Kazakh figures. At the end of the quiz, students performed the song “Atameken,” creating a warm and inspiring atmosphere.

The next segment featured linguistic games designed to enhance creative thinking. Participants searched for Kazakh rhymes to Russian and English words, enriching their vocabulary and sharpening their artistic abilities. Students also took part in a proverb challenge, showcasing their quick wit.

One of the most enjoyable parts of the program was the role-play performances. Students staged short scenes such as “Aldar Köse in the Dormitory,” “Qyz Zhibek in the 21st Century,” and “An Unexpected Encounter with a Celebrity,” bringing joy and lively energy to the audience.

The first meeting of the “Söz jáne Shabyt” creative club was filled with inspiration and meaningful interactions. Students are expected to bring new ideas and creative initiatives to the next session.
