Briefing on the Training of Cynology Specialists with the Participation of the Military Department and the Cynology Center of the Financial Monitoring Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan

On November 27, 2025, a briefing on the training of cynology specialists was held at the Military Department of the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University. The event was attended by Colonel Erkin Korabayevich Adilbekov, Head of the Military Department, Marat Tadzhimuratovich Kumisbayev, Deputy Head of the Cynology Center of the Financial Monitoring Agency of the Republic of Kazakhstan, specialists of the Cynology Center, as well as officers and staff of the Military Department.

During the briefing, Rustem Rashidovich Baygudanov, Head of the Special Training Department for Service Dogs, and Zhenis Muratuly Kulybekov, Senior Specialist of the Department, demonstrated practical methods of using service dogs.

As part of the event, practical exercises were conducted using service dogs to detect narcotics, explosives, and marked banknotes. The briefing was aimed at promoting among students measures to counter drug trafficking, drug use, and corruption, as well as providing practical insight into the capabilities of the cynology service.
