KazNARU Held a Two-Stage Career Guidance Meeting with School Graduates

On December 24, 2025, the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University (KazNARU), under the leadership of the Chairman of the Board – Vice-Rector, Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Professor Pirimkul Sholpankulovich Ibragimov, held two career guidance meetings in online and offline formats on the topic “Choosing the Right Profession Is the Path to the Future.”

In order to reach all school graduates of the Zhambyl region, the events were conducted in two stages — at 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.:

– at 10:00 a.m. — for graduates of the Baizak, Zhambyl, Zhualy, Korday, Moyynkum, and Merki districts;

– at 12:00 p.m. — for graduates of the T. Ryskulov, Talas, Sarysu, and Shu districts, as well as schools of the city of Taraz under the supervision of the Department of Education.

The event was attended by representatives of the Education Department of the Zhambyl Region Akimat, including Head of the Department Aydyn Orynbekovna Dosybayeva and Deputy Head of the Educational and Methodological Center Agura Maarbanovna Naregeyeva, as well as heads of district and city education departments, school principals, class teachers, career guidance specialists, and representatives of the KazNARU administration, faculty deans, academic staff, and students.

The meeting was organized and moderated by the Director of the Admissions Committee, Candidate of Economic Sciences, Professor Ainur Yeltaykyzy Kairbayeva. During the meeting, it was explained that registration for the Unified National Testing (UNT) would be available from December 22 to December 30, 2025, via the National Testing Center website. Participants were also informed that in 2026 applicants would have the opportunity to take the UNT up to five times through their personal accounts. In addition, information was provided on bachelor’s degree educational programs offered by the university, elective subjects, and minimum passing scores.

In the online format, the meeting was attended by graduates from 447 schools of the Zhambyl region — 15,019 graduates, 1,200 teachers, and 300 parents. The total number of participants reached 16,519 people.

The main objective of the meeting was to assist students in making an informed career choice, introduce the advantages and opportunities of the university, and highlight the future prospects of the agricultural sector.

During the event, the university’s achievements in innovative development, modern educational and scientific projects were presented, along with a comprehensive presentation about KazNARU.

At the conclusion of the meeting, it was emphasized that the KazNARU Admissions Committee is always ready to provide consultation support to school graduates from remote regions of the country and their parents.
