ABOUT 139,000 APPLICANTS WERE TESTED AT THE JANUARY UNT

From 26.01.26 to 10.02.26, the Unified National Testing for January was conducted at the Narkhoz University in the test reception center of the National Testing Center of the Republic of Kazakhstan.  During this period, namely from February 2 to February 10, 2026, the KazNARU regional commission took part in the work on the admission of the Unified National Testing, which fulfilled its tasks at the proper level.
Since the beginning of the UNT in January, about 139 thousand applicants have participated in the testing. 69% of them scored threshold points and showed high results. The average score in five subjects is 64, and the maximum score is 138. In addition, 328 applicants with special educational needs took part in the testing, and the principle of equal opportunities was observed.
During the testing, the results of 244 applicants were annulled for violating the rules. Of these, 152 applicants were deprived of the opportunity to be tested for attempting to transport prohibited substances, 92 applicants were excluded from the classroom for violating discipline during testing. No unauthorized persons have been identified.
 In 2026, the UNT format remained the same. The applicants passed three compulsory subjects and two elective subjects. The total number of UNT assignments is 120, including 20 assignments in the discipline "History of Kazakhstan", 10 assignments in the disciplines "Reading literacy" and "Mathematical literacy", as well as 40 assignments in each of the two specialized disciplines. The maximum score on the UNT also does not change and is 140 points.
From February 2 to February 10, 2026, the KazNARU regional commission was responsible for organizing and conducting the UNT admission process. 7,000 applicants were served during the week.
 In addition, for their significant contribution to the organization and conduct of the Unified National Testing, Chairman of the Board – Rector of the Kazakh Kazakh National Agrarian Research University A. K. Kurishbayev and the university staff were awarded a Letter of Appreciation from the National Testing Center of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
