On February 18, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m., dissertation defenses were held at the Dissertation Council of KazNARU under the training направления 8D083 Forestry and 8D052 Environment for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).
Zhenis Serikovich Dukenov defended his dissertation entitled “Improvement of Measures Aimed at the Restoration of Tugai Forests in the Floodplain of the Syr Darya River,” and Ruslan Sabirovich Akhmetov defended his dissertation entitled “Improvement of Cultivation Techniques for Black Saxaul in Western Kazakhstan” under the educational program 8D08302 – “Forest Resources and Silviculture.”
Based on Minutes No. 1 and No. 2 of the Dissertation Council in the fields of 8D083 Forestry and 8D052 Environment, it was resolved to confer the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) upon Zhenis Serikovich Dukenov and Ruslan Sabirovich Akhmetov.
