Lecture at the Faculty of Agrobiology, KazNARU Introducing the “Green Office” Program
On March 10, 2026, an introductory lecture on the “Green Office” program was held at the Faculty of Agrobiology of the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University (KazNARU). The program is aimed at developing ecological awareness, promoting sustainable practices, and raising environmental consciousness among students and faculty members.
The “Green Office” is a concept designed to implement ecological initiatives, educational projects, and research in the fields of sustainable development, rational use of natural resources, and environmentally responsible lifestyles. The program plans to organize trainings, seminars, student meetings, and practical activities to foster ecological thinking among youth.
Implementing the “Green Office” concept at the Faculty of Agrobiology is an important step in advancing the university’s environmental policy and supporting international principles of sustainable development. The initiative also promotes eco-friendly practices in everyday university activities, including waste sorting, energy saving, and responsible consumption.
The Dean of the Faculty, faculty members, and students attended the event. Participants emphasized the importance of creating such initiative platforms in universities to prepare a new generation of specialists focused on sustainable development and environmental preservation.
The Faculty of Agrobiology will continue to develop environmental projects and engage students in practical activities aimed at improving the ecological situation and shaping a “green” future.
