Third Day of the Summer School: From Idea to Investment Readiness
The Summer School “Startup Business Incubation for Sustainable Development” continues its work at Kazakh National Agrarian Research University. The third day of the educational program focused on developing project management skills, preparing startups for market entry, and improving investment presentations.
Participants of the Summer School – undergraduate and graduate students, doctoral candidates, and young researchers – continued intensive work on their projects aimed at addressing key sustainable development challenges. Particular attention was given to scaling innovative ideas, assessing market opportunities, and enhancing the competitiveness of startup initiatives.
During the educational sessions, participants explored modern approaches to project management, investment attraction mechanisms, and effective interaction with potential partners and investors. Experts shared practical tools for market analysis, product promotion strategies, and building effective communication with target audiences.
Special emphasis was placed on the preparation of startup pitch presentations. Participants received guidance on structuring investment proposals, highlighting the key advantages of their projects, and demonstrating their socio-economic impact. Practical workshops enabled teams to refine their projects based on expert feedback and investor expectations.
The third day also included group consultations and discussions on the commercialization of scientific research, the development of innovative entrepreneurship, and the implementation of sustainable development technologies in the agricultural sector. Participants exchanged experiences, received feedback from mentors, and discussed opportunities for further development of their initiatives.
The Summer School continues to provide a dynamic platform for fostering innovative thinking, strengthening collaboration between science and business, and preparing a new generation of professionals capable of creating impactful solutions for a sustainable future.
The participants now look forward to the final stages of project development, meetings with experts, and the presentation of their startup initiatives, which will mark the culmination of this intensive educational program.
