THE FACULTY OF ENGINEERING TECHNOLOGIES HOSTED THE EVENT “THE WORLD OF AGRICULTURAL ENGINEERING AND SCIENCE”
A cognitive and intellectual event titled “The World of Agricultural Engineering and Science” was held at the Faculty of Engineering Technologies of the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University in celebration of the Day of Science Workers of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The event was organized by the Department of Agricultural Machinery and Mechanical Engineering for first-year students. The teaching staff of the department and first-year doctoral students took part in the preparation and conduct of the event.The main purpose of the event was to broaden students’ knowledge in the field of agricultural machinery and agrarian science, as well as to increase young people’s interest in research activities and modern technologies in the agricultural sector.As part of the program, participants, divided into two teams, competed in several stages, including team presentations, a blitz quiz, a discussion session, and a question-and-answer round. During the event, the department’s teaching staff and invited guests emphasized the importance of advancing science, introducing innovative technologies into the agro-industrial complex, and training qualified specialists for the industry.Special attention was paid to crop production, animal husbandry, agricultural engineering, as well as the role of scientific achievements in improving the efficiency of agricultural production. At the end of the event, the results were announced, the winning team was determined, and the participants were awarded.This event became an important platform for promoting agrarian science and engineering education among young people and contributed to increasing students’ interest in science and modern technologies.
