An Informative Meeting within the Framework of Career Guidance Activities
On May 15, 2026, within the framework of career guidance activities at KSU “Secondary Russian School No. 80” of the Zhetysu District in Almaty, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of General Education Disciplines A.D. Kozhabekova, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Associate Professor G.A. Davletova, and Senior Lecturer M.A. Yesbolova delivered a mini-lecture on career choice and the advantages of studying at the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University. A promotional video about the university was also presented.
Students of grades 10 and 11 of the school (127 students in total, including 54 students from grade 10 and 73 students from grade 11) watched the video presentation and received information about the various educational programs and specialties offered by the university, as well as learning opportunities. In addition, the students were informed about employment prospects and career development opportunities after graduation.
During the meeting, the students actively asked questions of interest, completed a survey via QR code, and received informational brochures.
In order to systematically implement career guidance activities and establish effective cooperation with future applicants, a bilateral memorandum was signed with the school principal, Kanat Karzhaubayevich Baitleuov, and an agreement on mutual cooperation was reached.
In the future, within the framework of this partnership, joint career guidance events and close interaction with school students are planned. At the same time, the university aims to increase students’ interest in higher education by presenting the educational opportunities and advantages offered by the university.
We are confident that this cooperation will help guide the younger generation in choosing their future profession and will further strengthen the relationship between the university and the school.
