DISSERTATION DEFENSE HELD IN THE FIELD OF STUDY 8D081 CROP PRODUCTION ON SEPTEMBER 4

On September 4, 2026, at 11:00 a.m., a dissertation defense was held before the Dissertation Council in the field of study 8D081 – Crop Production, established at the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University.

Ulbossyn Makhanova defended her dissertation entitled “Development of a Biological Method for the Desalination of Saline Soils through the Cultivation of Licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra L.),” submitted for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the specialty 6D080800 – Soil Science and Agrochemistry.

Based on Protocol No. 10 of the Dissertation Council in the field of study 8D081 – Crop Production, it was resolved to award Ulbossyn Makhanova the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD).
