“Student Induction Ceremony — The First Step into University Life!”

KazNARU Hosts the Solemn “Student Induction Ceremony – 2026”

The Kazakh National Agrarian Research University (KazNARU) hosted its traditional “Student Induction Ceremony – 2026”. This year, the festive event dedicated to first-year students coincided with Almaty City Day, marking the beginning of a new and important stage in the students’ academic journey.

The first-year students were congratulated by Chairman of the Board – Rector Akhylbek Kuanyshevich Kurishbayev. In the new academic year, KazNARU welcomed nearly 1,400 students who received state educational grants, more than 700 fee-paying students, as well as around 600 international students from 20 countries.

In his address to the students, the Rector highlighted KazNARU’s dynamic development as a research university. The university’s priority areas include artificial intelligence, biotechnology, digital solutions, and smart agriculture.

The Rector also emphasized the important role of young people in building a Just Kazakhstan and highlighted the importance of following the principle of “Law and Order.” Deep knowledge and professional skills should be combined with honest work, civic responsibility, and respect for the law.

“The future of our country directly depends on your knowledge, professional skills, and honest work for the benefit of society. Therefore, strive for knowledge, learn new things, and make the most of every opportunity for your personal and professional development,” the Rector said in his address to the students.

First-year students of the Department of Land Resources and Cadastre actively participated in the “Student Induction Ceremony”, marking the beginning of a new and important stage in their university life.

For future specialists, this day marked the beginning of their professional journey in such fields as land management, cadastre, geoinformation technologies, remote sensing of land, and digital land resource management.
