On September 16 at 09:00, an event dedicated to World First Aid Day was held in Room 225 of Building 10.

At the beginning of the event, the organizers welcomed the participants and spoke about the importance of first aid in everyday life. Particular attention was paid to the fact that timely and appropriate actions by bystanders before the arrival of medical professionals can play an important role in preserving the health and life of an injured person.

As part of the event, an interactive quiz was also conducted using Kahoot!. Participants were presented with questions related to first aid, rules of conduct in emergency situations, and actions to be taken in various types of injuries. This format made it possible to assess the participants’ level of knowledge, make the event more interactive, and engage both faculty members and students in discussing the topic.

After completing the quiz, the correct answers were reviewed, and additional explanations were provided on the most important issues. Participants were able not only to test their knowledge but also to learn new and useful information.

• Ensuring the safety of oneself and the injured person;

• Calling emergency medical services;

• Basic principles of providing first aid to injured persons;

Results of the Event

The event contributed to increasing participants’ interest in first aid and safe behavior. Faculty members and students were able to refresh their knowledge and discuss the importance of being prepared to help a person in a critical situation.

The event was held in an informative and friendly atmosphere. Its organization emphasized the importance of the principles “Be Prepared. Be Kind. Save Lives” and the need for coordinated action to ensure the safety of those around us.
