Abai’s Concept of “Tolyq Adam” as a Foundation for Youth Development
On October 16, 2026, K. D. Raisov, Senior Lecturer at the Department of Social Sciences and Humanities of the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University (KazNARU), conducted an educational event for second-year students entitled “Contemporary Youth’s Perspectives on Abai Kunanbayev’s Concept of ‘Tolyk Adam’ (The Complete Human Being).”
During the event, the key principles of Abai’s teaching on the ideal human being were discussed, with particular emphasis on the concepts of “passionate determination,” “enlightened reason,” and “a warm heart.” Students exchanged views on the relevance of the great thinker’s spiritual and moral legacy in contemporary society and explored its role in shaping the personal development of younger generations.
The event contributed to strengthening students’ spiritual and moral values, developing their intellectual potential, and fostering a deeper understanding of Abai’s intellectual and philosophical heritage.
