SPIRIT OF THE REPUBLIC: LEGAL AWARENESS AND NATIONAL INTEREST
An educational and intellectual game titled "Spirit of the Republic: Legal Awareness and National Interest," dedicated to Republic Day on October 25, was held on October 22 at the Department of Social and Humanitarian Disciplines of the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University.
The event was organized by the Head of the Department, Ye.B. Ospanov, and political science teachers M.Sh. Nazarova and Z.I. Ashimova. First-year Biotechnology students from group BT 26-07K participated in the educational competition.
The main goal of the event was to cultivate patriotism among the youth, explain the historical significance of the 1990 Declaration on State Sovereignty, and enhance the political and legal literacy of the new generation.
The intellectual game was not held in a basic theoretical question-and-answer format; instead, it featured modern interactive stages that tested the students' logical thinking, speed, and team cohesion:

In the "Intellectual Matrix" stage, students answered questions of various levels regarding the history of sovereignty, articles of the new Constitution that came into force in 2026, and state symbols.

In the "Political Quote" round, they identified the authors of famous quotes by Alash leaders and state figures regarding national interests and spirit.

Through logical tasks like "Historical Chain" and "Secret Box," participants chronologically ordered historical events on the path to Independence and ingeniously guessed hidden legal terms.
During the game, the students of group BT 26-07K divided into 4 teams and demonstrated high engagement and political erudition. Going beyond the traditional lecture format, this event increased the students' interest in political science and awakened a sense of responsibility toward national values.
Following the competition, the winning teams with the highest scores and active participants were awarded special academic points and incentive prizes by the organizers. A deep understanding of state interests and legal awareness by the youth, who represent the country's tomorrow, is the guarantee of a bright future for a Just Kazakhstan.
