On October 27, 2026, KazNARU Stadium hosted an awards ceremony honoring the winners and medalists of the Spartakiad among first-year students.
The Spartakiad was organized to encourage student participation in sports, promote a healthy lifestyle, and strengthen cooperation among the university's faculties.
The event featured 11 competitions across eight sports disciplines: volleyball, basketball, football, table tennis, arm wrestling, togyzkumalak (a traditional Kazakh board game), chess, and tug-of-war.
The overall team standings were as follows:
🥇 1st place – Faculty of Forestry and Land Resources;
🥈 2nd place – Faculty of Engineering Technologies;
🥉 3rd place – Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Zooengineering.
The winning faculty teams were honored at the awards ceremony, with their sporting achievements receiving enthusiastic applause from participants and spectators.
Performances by the university's creative groups added to the festive atmosphere. Dance groups that recently won the Grand Prix at the national creative festival "SHABYT – 2026" presented a special flash mob performance.
The First-Year Student Spartakiad not only showcased the students' athletic potential but also strengthened team spirit, mutual support, and unity within the university community.
