Relevance
Widespread infectious keratoconjunctivitis (IKС) in cattle causes significant economic damage to livestock production. Currently, it is necessary to develop and put into practice the most effective and safe medicines for the treatment of IKС in animals, therefore, the development of new phytopreparations with not only pronounced antimicrobial properties, but also anti-inflammatory, immunomodulatory effects and minimal side effects is currently one of the urgent problems.
Target
Development of a phytopreparation from local medicinal plant raw materials for the treatment of infectious keratoconjunctivitis in cattle and scientific substantiation of its pharmacotherapeutic efficacy.
Expected and achieved results
1) conducting monitoring studies to study the etiology and pathogenesis of the spread of infectious keratoconjunctivitis (IKС) in cattle and selecting the most effective types of medicinal plants with therapeutic and prophylactic effects.
2) for the manufacture of a drug (phytomase) from medicinal plants, the processes of preparation, drying and storage are carried out in accordance with their pharmacological compatibility.
3) publication of 1 (one) article in domestic publications or reviews recommended by the Committee for Quality Assurance in Science and Higher Education of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
4) based on the results obtained during the implementation of the project, make presentations at international scientific and practical conferences and publish at least two (2) articles.
