Svetlana Y. Ermagambetova is a Candidate of Veterinary Sciences and Professor at the Department of Microbiology, Virology and Immunology of the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University.
She graduated from the Troitsk Veterinary Institute with a degree in Veterinary Medicine and was awarded the qualification of a veterinary doctor. In 2004, she defended her кандидат thesis on immunoprophylaxis of pasteurellosis and leptospirosis in cattle.
Her research activities are focused on veterinary microbiology, epizootology, and biotechnology. Her main research interests include the study of infectious diseases of farm animals, development of vaccines and probiotic preparations, and improvement of veterinary sanitary measures.
She is the author of numerous scientific publications, teaching materials, and patents, and is actively involved in training highly qualified specialists and academic activities at the university.
