Bolat Unat was born in 1986 and is ethnically Kazakh. In 2009, he graduated from the Kazakh National Agrarian University with a degree in Vocational Education. After graduating from the university, he enrolled in a master’s degree programme and obtained a Master of Agricultural Sciences degree in 2011.
After completing his master’s degree, he was appointed Head of the Laboratory at the Department of Agricultural Machinery and Technology, where he conducted research activities until 2012.
In 2013, he joined the Department of Mechanics and Agricultural Machinery Design as a lecturer. In 2017, he enrolled in a doctoral programme in Agricultural Machinery and Technology and completed it in 2020. In September 2020, he was appointed Senior Lecturer at the Department of Mechanics and Agricultural Machinery Design.
In 2023, he engaged in independent professional work in the industrial sector while preparing his doctoral dissertation. Since September 2026, he has been working as a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Agricultural Machinery and Mechanical Engineering.
In 2011, he was awarded the academic degree and qualification of Master of Agricultural Sciences in Agricultural Machinery and Technology. He is currently preparing a doctoral dissertation entitled “Justification of the Parameters and Operating Mode of a Pre-Sowing Soil Tillage Device” for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the programme 6D080600 — Agricultural Machinery and Technology.
Throughout his professional career, he has delivered lectures, laboratory classes, and practical sessions at a high academic level in Engineering Graphics, Engineering and Computer Graphics, Descriptive Geometry and Engineering Graphics, Mechanics, Technical Mechanics, Theoretical Mechanics, Theoretical and Applied Mechanics, and other specialised disciplines.
Bolat Unat’s research interests include the mechanisation of agricultural production, improvement of technical equipment and technologies in the agro-industrial sector, and development of resource-efficient and environmentally sustainable solutions for agriculture. His research also focuses on the development and scientific justification of machines and devices for the post-harvest processing of crop products and the collection of technological materials.
Over the course of his professional career, he has established himself as a qualified lecturer, experienced researcher, and responsible organiser. He continuously works to improve his professional qualifications and actively contributes to the development of educational programmes, research activities, and the training of highly qualified specialists for the agricultural sector.
