YOUTH EDUCATION AT KazNAIU: FROM DUTY TO MISSION

✅ In accordance with the approved plan, at Kazakh National Agrarian Research University, under the leadership of Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs A.Sh. Eralieva, specialists from the Youth Affairs Department held meetings with academic group curators. As a result, an analysis of the implementation of educational work in faculties and departments was conducted, and methodological guidance was provided on the main directions of youth education.

✅ From January 14 to 16, 2026, according to the approved schedule, these meetings were held at each faculty. During the discussions, priority areas for youth education in the upcoming period were identified.

✅ Today, youth education is not merely a component of the educational process but a strategically important state task aimed at forming socially active individuals with high civic responsibility, developed legal culture, strong patriotic consciousness, commitment to a healthy lifestyle, and social engagement. In a recent interview with the Turkistan newspaper, the Head of State emphasized the importance of strengthening the spiritual and moral education of young people and nurturing a talented, initiative-taking, and patriotic generation.

✅ This, in turn, requires revising the content and quality of educational work at higher education institutions and improving it in line with contemporary requirements.

✅ During the meetings with curators, the focus was on ensuring the spiritual and moral development of students based on Abai’s concept of the “Complete Human” (Толық адам), as well as promoting the principles of “Aдал азамат” (“Honest Citizen”) among students. The implementation of the “Law and Order” ideology, the organization of ecological and civic events within the framework of the Taza Kazakhstan initiative, was analyzed. Attention was also given to the content and systematic nature of informational and awareness-raising activities on issues relevant to youth, such as gambling addiction, bullying and cyberbullying, drug prevention, carried out in close collaboration with the psychological service. Special attention was paid to the quality of educational hours, the level of curator engagement with students, and the proper maintenance of educational documentation.

✅ During the exchange of views with group curators, the work with international students, including their educational and adaptation processes and integration into social and cultural environments, was discussed, with methodological recommendations provided.

✅ In addition, the process of student accommodation in dormitories, access to medical services, effective organization of leisure activities, and the level of engagement of talented students in creative clubs and research projects were reviewed.

✅ When reviewing educational documentation, including work plans, reports, and the content of events conducted, key issues and recommendations were identified.

✅ As a result, measures were outlined to enhance the effectiveness of educational work, improve documentation, and define priority areas for upcoming periods.
