The Great Bard — A Spiritual Pillar of the Nation
On the occasion of the 180th anniversary of the great Kazakh poet and bard Жамбыл Жабаев, a meaningful literary, musical, and educational evening was organized by Ainur Orakbayeva, curator of the Department of Zooengineering and Biotechnology, together with students of group MSh 24-01. The main objective of the event was to widely promote the poet’s legacy, introduce his creative world to the younger generation, and foster national values.
During the evening, an informative presentation was delivered about Zhambyl Zhabayev’s life journey, the stages of his creative development, his connections with historical figures, and his role in the life of the country. His poems glorifying national unity and heroic spirit were recited, along with works rich in deep philosophical reflections and patriotic ideas, which resonated strongly with the audience.
In addition, talented students performed songs based on the poet’s verses, enriching the program of the evening. Literary compositions and theatrical performances were presented, artistically portraying Zhambyl’s poetic identity and distinguished personality.
Participants shared their views on the great bard’s творчество and discussed his place in Kazakh literature and culture. At the end of the evening, attendees were spiritually inspired and strengthened their interest in national literature.
Zhambyl’s legacy is a priceless treasure of our nation. The life and творчество of the poet, who became a spiritual symbol of the people, will always serve as an example for future generations. His great poetic word will continue to live in the hearts and minds of descendants.
