"ANATOM-LIDER" Intellectual Quiz
The 1st-year students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine recently engaged in the "ANATOM-LIDER" challenge, a comprehensive academic competition focused on the "Anatomy of Animals and Birds." This discipline serves as the essential bedrock for all future veterinary studies. Organized by Meruert Malikovna from the N.O. Bazanova Department of Animal Biology, the event was designed to bridge the gap between textbook theory and logical application.
The competition was divided into three demanding rounds, each pushing the students to demonstrate different facets of their expertise:
- "Quick Response" — A high-pressure blitz marathon where speed was as vital as accuracy. Students had to recall complex terminology under tight time constraints, proving their mastery of the subject matter.
- "Logic World" — An innovative round featuring visual puzzles. Participants had to identify anatomical structures through metaphorical images. For instance, linking a walnut to the brain's hemispheres or a parachute to the diaphragm required both biological knowledge and creative thinking.
- "True/False" — The final stage where students evaluated scientific statements to distinguish biological facts from common misconceptions, testing their attention to detail and scientific rigor.
Our Champions:
1st Place: Group Vet-02
2nd Place: Group Vet-12
3rd Place: Group Vet-14
4th Place: Group Vet-13
Congratulations to the winning teams! Deep knowledge of anatomy is the first step toward becoming a skilled veterinary surgeon and specialist. We are incredibly proud of our students' dedication and enthusiasm. Keep exploring the wonders of science and strive for excellence in your future careers.
