Our university recently hosted the "Sapiente Latina" intellectual quiz, where students showcased their mastery of Latin—the timeless language of global science and medicine.
Event Highlights
The competition was more than just a test of vocabulary; it was a dynamic display of logic and creativity across several rounds:

The Grid Challenge: Teams tackled questions of varying difficulty, earning points for their precision and speed.

"Proverbium": A deep dive into Latin adages. Participants had to complete famous quotes and provide accurate translations.

"Celer Responsum": A high-stakes lightning round where every second counted.
Between the competitive segments, the audience was treated to creative tributes performed in Latin, highlighting the students' artistic talents and their deep connection to academic traditions.
