SEMINAR “CLIMATE CHANGE AND HEALTH: CHALLENGES AND ADAPTATION STRATEGIES” HELD
A thematic seminar titled “Climate Change and Health: Challenges and Adaptation Strategies” was held as part of the Sustainable Development Goals agenda.
The event took place at the Kazakh Academy of Nutrition and was organized by the H. Dosmukhamedov School of Public Health in collaboration with the departments of Public Health, Nutrition named after Academician T. Sharmanov, and Health Policy and Management.
During the seminar, participants discussed the impact of climate change on public health, including environmental risks, the rise of climate-sensitive diseases, and challenges for healthcare systems.
Special attention was given to adaptation strategies, interdisciplinary collaboration, and sustainable development approaches.
The seminar served as an important platform for knowledge exchange and professional dialogue among students, faculty members, and experts.
