Youth Against Wastefulness

On May 14, 2026, the “Youth Against Wastefulness” challenge was held at the Department of Water Resources and Melioration of KazNAIU, aimed at promoting environmental awareness and the responsible use of resources. Students and teachers of the department actively participated in the event, uniting to raise awareness about the problems of excessive consumption and the importance of a conscious lifestyle.

During the challenge, participants shared useful tips on reducing waste, saving water and electricity, reusing items, and sorting waste. Students prepared themed videos, posters, and presentations, while teachers conducted informative discussions and supported youth initiatives.

The event was held in an atmosphere of cooperation and mutual support. The challenge became a great opportunity to demonstrate that even small everyday actions can make a significant contribution to protecting the environment. Participants expressed their willingness to continue supporting environmental initiatives and promoting the ideas of responsible consumption among young people.
