Cyberbullying Prevention Among Students: An Open Dialogue with a Psychologist

On November 20, 2025, an informational and preventive event on the topic “Prevention of Bullying and Cyberbullying” was held at the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University.

The event was jointly organized by the academic groups UVR-24-01K and UVR-24-02K of the Department of Water Resources and Land Reclamation (curators: Zhakupova Zh.Z. and Kaliyeva K.E.).

University psychologist Mynbay Alisher Bekboluly was invited as a guest speaker. During the meeting, participants discussed cyberbullying prevention, safe behavior on social media, psychological support for students, and the development of respectful communication within the educational environment.

Students actively participated in the discussion, shared their opinions, and received practical recommendations on preventing conflicts in the digital space. Special attention was paid to psychological safety, mutual respect, and responsible behavior on the Internet.

Such events contribute to improving students’ legal and psychological awareness and help create a safe and supportive educational environment at the university.
