The conference served as an essential platform for the attendees, who recognized the paramount importance of strengthening cooperation among Asian countries in the field of agricultural education and technology. Building upon a long tradition of sharing agricultural knowledge and civilizations in Asia, this collaboration is now pivotal in promoting agricultural development, green building, economic prosperity, and the exchange of knowledge among Asian countries. Undoubtedly, it lays the foundation for a brighter future for Asian agriculture.
In conjunction with the Conference, from July 18 to 19, the Asia Center Annual Meeting 2023 organized seven outreach academic sub-forums, each focusing on key topics such as Water for Food Security, Climate Change, Asia Land Use, Land Cover and Soil Research, Disaster Monitoring, Mitigation, and Response, One Health, and Shared Learning. These sub-forums aimed to leverage the collective strengths of Asian agricultural institutions, promote innovation in agricultural talent development, and collaboratively address the agricultural challenges facing Asia and the world. The ultimate goal is to ensure the sustainable development of agriculture, not only in Asia but also globally.
As we move forward, we eagerly anticipate further collaborations with like-minded partners across Asia to create a better and more sustainable future for agriculture. Together, we can make significant strides in advancing agricultural progress and meeting the challenges of our time.
