INDUSTRIAL TRAINING AND DEVELOPMENT OF DUAL PRACTICE OF KAZNARU STUDENTS

To date, six large research institutes and one experimental farm work with KazNARU. One of them is the «Kazakh research institute of processing and food industry» LLP. «Kazakh research institute of processing and food industry» LLP was established in 1993 in Almaty. The Institute has been working in the system of the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan since 2002. It has two branches in the cities of Astana and Semey.

The main goal is to provide scientific support for the innovative development of the processing and food industry in order to improve the quality and competitiveness of products in the domestic and foreign markets.

✅ Dual training is a form of training in which the theoretical part of the training takes place on the basis of an educational organization, and the practical part takes place at the workplace. Enterprises order the exact number of specialists to educational institutions, employers participate in the development of the curriculum. Students undergo practical training at the enterprise without interrupting their studies. The same dual training takes place between KazNARU and «Kazakh research institute of processing and food industry» LLP.

In the system of dual training, the role of the employer is being strengthened and qualitatively changing. The most important component is the availability of trained personnel acting as mentors.

✅ Within the framework of dual training, from October 23 to November 24. 2023, 4th–year students studying under the educational program 6B07208 - "Technology of processing industries" of the department "Technology and Food Safety" undergo dual practice on the basis of the «Kazakh research institute of processing and food industry» LLP.

Before leaving for practice, a tripartite agreement was concluded between KazNARU, the Research Institute and the student of dual training. At the enterprise, at the research Institute, where the practice takes place, students were given a lecture on safety and instructed on fire safety.

✅ A schedule has been drawn up and managers have been appointed for the production practice of dual training of 4th-year students: Bektursynova Maya Zhumadilovna, master, senior researcher at the laboratory «Feed Technology», Zhumalieva Gulzhan Yeralievna, Candidate of Technical Sciences, head of the laboratory «Technology of bakery production», Makeeva Raushan Kydyrkhanovna, engineer-technologist of the laboratory «Technology of milk and dairy products», Velyamov Masimzhan Tursynovich, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor, Head of the laboratory «Biotechnology of quality and food safety», Tursynov Alibek Alashevich, Master, senior researcher of the laboratory «Technology of processing livestock products».

✅ During the internship, students fill out diaries - reports, record the actual information about the work done, and also at the end of the internship submit a final report.
